Three small initial print runs were undertaken to test the market.

In an effort to present this book in what was hoped to be a superior format, certain specifications were made regarding cover weight, internal page weight and type. As a result of these choices, potential problems have been discovered with this book.

In some cases, when opening the book at the first page, the cover comes away from the score. Of note, the cover does not separate from the bind. There is the potential for pages to become dislodged from the book, if it is opened too far.  In addition, the cover has been found to curl outwards if left to lay by itself, either horizontally or vertically.

While the overall quality of the book is of a high standard, these potential problems make it less than ideal and this situation cannot be resolved economically or adequately, for such small print runs.

Of note, if the book is treated with care, the issue of the pages becoming dislodged is unlikely to occur. In reality, none of the abovementioned issues may surface, however, in the spirit of being upfront and honest, they are presented here for your information and evaluation.
